Bellissimo Lucca Merino Cotton 8 Ply Yarn

Lucca blends the warmth and softness of Australian extrafine merino with the cool, breathable feel of cotton, giving you a yarn that’s comfortable to wear almost all year round. Spun in Italy for Bellissimo, it has a smooth, rounded finish with crisp stitch definition, and the cotton adds strength so your projects keep their shape over time.

Lucca is OEKO-TEX certified and machine washable, which makes it a great choice for babywear. It’s just as good for adult jumpers, cardigans and vests, and for homewares, and it works beautifully for both knitting and crochet. Lucca can also be used in any pattern written for Bellissimo 8 Ply or Superb 8, though ball quantities may vary, so check the metres needed.
