Clarissa the Cat - Knitting Pattern

Clarissa the Cat is very chic. Bows and bling along with matching shoes and frilly dress set a striking contrast against her black and white body and face. Under the dress she has red picot edged knickers with a bow. Clarissa stands 26cm high.

General Requirements:

3.0mm knitting needles
Darning needle for sewing up, long sewing needle for sewing on the eyes
Small sewing needle for sewing on buttons and embroidery

Materials for Body:

Body: 50g 8 ply black yarn and 25g 8 ply white yarn
Dress, knickers, shoes and bows: 50g 8 ply red yarn
Dress trim (optional): 8m of contrast yarn
Dacron Stuffing, make-up blush (optional)

Embellishments:

4 x 5mm black buttons for eyes and shoes, 1 x 8-10mm black shank button for the dress
Black embroidery floss, red embroidery floss
Black and white ribbon for the knickers bow
3 x heart shaped 'jewels' for the dress and shoes, 1 x 6mm 'jewel' for the head bow
1cm x 1cm square of black felt for the nose
