Knitting pattern for classic Aran style cabled sweaters in two styles, designed and styled for both women and men. Designed in Pure wool DK 8ply yarn.
Sweaters have cable and moss stitch texture pattern sections and either a turtle neck option or a Roll Neck version.

Materials: Yarn choice best if a 100% Pure Wool with an 8ply DK weight.
Gauge: 22 stitches and 30 rows over 10cm square swatch using 4mm needles.
Recommended Needles (as needed to make gauge): 4mm and 3.25mm or as required to make the correct Gauge.
Also required: a Cable Needle, 4 stitch holders and wool needle for sewing up.

3rd row - K2, sl 1, K1, psso, patt to last 4 sts, K2tog, K2.
4th row - P3, patt to last 3 sts, P3. *** Rep 3rd and 4th rows until 57 (71-85-95-109-119) sts rem, ending with a dec row.
Next row (WS) - P2, P2tog tbl, patt to last 4 sts, P2tog, P2.
(currently says purl to last 4 sts)
