What a Hoot Owl - Knitting Pattern

'What a Hoot Owl' is very cool. He is knitted in natural colours and he has an optional weighted pouch inside to allow him to sit independently. He looks equally amazing in other colours too; brights to make a funky modern owl or white to make a Harry Potter version.

He is 20cm high.

General Requirements:

Body: 50g 8ply yarn
50g 8ply yarn for feet, wings, chest patch and ear detail
Dacron Stuffing
2 piece of calico 12cm x 15cm
3/4 cup of teddy pear pellets or fish tank gravel

Materials for Face:

2 x 24mm or 30mm buttons or safety eyes for eyes
1m orange yarn for beak
2 x 30mm circles of felt to support eyes
